Finland Community Youth Program
Youth Night is back with bi-weekly open art nights! The gym is still closed for now, but with the warmer weather you can play outside all you want. New bikes and an outdoor basketball court make being outside fun!
The Finland Food Chain
The Finland Food Chain is a project of Friends of the Finland Community that aims to build and expand an interrelated local food system that increases access to healthy foods and builds local wealth in Finland and the greater North Shore and Iron Range region.
Finland Farmer's Market
Safety changes we are making this year include: creating an online pre-ordering platform, offering ample hand washing stations, encouraging social distancing with our layout, and not offering any samples or products to be consumed on site. More information to come!
Clair Nelson Scholarships
Clair Nelson Vocational Scholarships offer financial assistance to high school seniors and adult residents of School District 381. Applicants must be interested in pursuing a career in a vocational or technical field.
St. Urho’s Day
Finland, Minnesota has long celebrated St. Urho’s Day in March. In 2007 the committee who had been putting on the event for years decided to retire. Friends of the Finland Community stepped in to continue the tradition.
