On Saturday, February 7th, a group of folks from Finland, Silver Bay, and Two Harbors loaded up on a bus and motored over to the Loon Lake Community Center to attend the 88th annual Laskiainen Finnish Sliding Festival in Aroura, MN. The event featured a sliding track onto the lake, a traditional finish ride, traditional food, artisan crafts, and more.
