For the past several years, we’ve been working to bring back the tradition of door-to-door trick-or-treating in Finland. One of the biggest challenges of trick-or-treating in Finland, MN is knowing which houses to visit. In an effort to make things easier for families, we started making a map of all the locations in Finland that are open to having kids trick-or-treat at their house. Do you want your home or business listed on this year’s map? We’re currently working to update the Finland Halloween Map for this year, and we have lists of last year’s locations at the Finland Co-op and the Clair Nelson Center. Please take a moment to stop and review the list. If you were previously on the list but don’t want to be this year, just cross your name off. If you were not on previous maps but would like to be listed this year, just write down your name and address on the bottom of the list. If you were on the map last year and want your name to remain on this year’s map, you don’t have to do anything! If you have any questions, you can call the community center at 218-353-0300. Due to the limits of a printed map, we have to limit map locations to the immediate Finland area. We will be accepting updates until October 20th, so make sure you don’t wait too long.

Once the map is finalized, printed copies will be available at the Finland Co-op and the Clair Nelson Center.
